I'm not sure if we found alpacas or they found us.  There is something special about these "regal" animals that touches the human spirit.  We were first introduced to these gentle creatures through Janet's interest in the fiber arts.  After extensive research and visitng several alpacas ranches in Texas and surrounding states, we purchased our first alpaca, Boerne, a female out of a then-promising young herdsire named Dom Lucilio.  Talk about good luck...Dom Lucilio, son of the renowned Royal Fawn, holds the distinction of being one of the highest selling alpaca herdsires in history.  His cria have won over 70 color championships.This bloodline became the building block for our Texas alpaca herd.

Our philosophy is simple.  We buy quality females and breed them to herdsires from the top blood-lines in the USA.  The bloodlines represented in our alpaca herd include Caligula, Hemingway, Royal Fawn, Vengador, Victor, Fabio, and Yupanqui.  Award-winning crias with correct conformation and outstanding fiber characteristics validate our philosophy.

We are one of the few alpaca ranches that can show you how to take the raw fiber from fleece to finished products.  Janet is always excited to show visitors her Fiber Studio and to share her passion for "what to do with all that fiber."  In addition to selling quality fiber products, she teaches various fiber arts classes.
